UPCOMING SHOWS N/A RIGHT WHERE I WANT ME I am home and back to the studio after a brief and breezy tour through Kingston and Toronto with UN. Thanks to Adam Weave for setting up the Grad Club show and bringing me to possibly the greatest record store in all of Canada. After such a wonderful experience in Kingston it was only fitting that our show at the Bread & Circus was cancelled* (in the midst of Paul Shepard’s awesome set) due to a misunderstanding with the promoter, the only kink in our otherwise taut and rigid chain. We retreated to Ronnie’s down the street, unfazed and drank away any ill feelings of our Kensington market experience. The final stop was at the Gladstone, UN exploding out into an unsuspecting audience and myself, doing what it is that I do, disco ball et all. Things concluded at Johnny G’s the following morning over breakfast and a nearly unanimous vote for drowning as the worst possible death before we took back towards my beautiful Montreal. Toronto is everything that everybody says it is. *I know there are people grumbling about how they dealt with us at the B&C but there were problems on both sides.
EASTERN RESISTANCE Charlie's solo project ¡FLIST!'s debut LP, Eastern Resistance is scheduled for June 5th release. The release will be held at Club Lambi with Kara Keith's new project, UN and other guests.
